Army Construction LLC was contracted by the New York City School Construction Authority to perform a complete roof restoration and structural envelope rehabilitation at P.S. 102K in Brooklyn, New York. The scope of work included replacement of the existing slate roof system with new natural slate tiles, installation of new flashing and copper gutters, masonry repairs to chimneys and parapets, and the integration of modern waterproofing assemblies--all while preserving the historic character of the school's facade. The project required meticulous coordination and craftsmanship due to its heritage aesthetic and complex roof geometry featuring multiple hip ridges, crickets, and chimney junctions. All work was completed under occupied conditions with strict safety and noise control protocols per SCA standards.

Scope of Work

Fluid-Applied Waterproofing
